You sure are crazy about this cardi, gals! In fact this emmy classic simply flies off the shelves the minute we release a new collection! So which color will come home with you today?
Are you also the kind of gal who always wears dresses or high waist pants? Then you need a cardigan that ends right at the waist. To suit that vintage swing dress of yours this cardigan is shorter than our other tops and jumpers, as a regular length cardigan looks bulky on top of a full dress. Despite its short length the garment is very warm because it’s knitted in heavy yarn, has full-length sleeves, and a narrow neck. Furthermore the entire cardi is cable knit in a lovely pattern. The neckline can be buttoned as high or low as the weather allows or based on your outfit of the day. You might want to wear it strictly buttoned all the way up with a modest blouse collar peeking out one day and with just the lowest buttons closed to show off a lovely dress neckline (or cleavage for that matter) the next day..
You'll feel like one of Gil Elvgren's ice skater pin ups in this darling!
The garment is knit in the same lovely material we have always used for our winter knits. The high wool content makes it warm without leaving you sweaty. It also stays fresh, cutting down on washes. Wool is infamously itchy, but we've solved that issue completely by giving the yarn a mercerized surface that makes it a bit shiny, very soft and gets less pilling. We have also made sure that the garment can be machine washed because we know how time-consuming and costly hand wash and dry cleaning can be.
Material: Heavy yarn in wool mix in wine. 70% wool 30% acrylic. Mercerized yarn in very high quality.
Rec. retail price incl. VAT: 1375 SEK / € 154,50 / £ 116 / $ 167,50
