Embrace the 1960’s with open arms in this square cut warming Summer sweater! Just like Brigitte Bardot you could pair up your sweater with slim fit pants (may we suggest our Peggy Sue pants folded to just above the ankles or higher for capri style), flats and salty beach hair. It also looks smashing matched with our casual voyager shorts or any pants really!
The Bardot boatneck is a really warm sweater for those chilly Summer evenings when you are out sailing or just enjoying a good book on your porch while the last rays of sun stroke your sun-kissed legs. Its loose fit looks great on all shapes and sizes and it is slightly longer than our other knitwear to keep you warm and toasty. The wide double knit boatneck, boxy fit, and raglan sleeves really set our minds to the early 1960’s beach babes.
You can choose between solid strong pastels or the more sailorette styled horizontal stripes.
Knitted in a top quality heavy mercerized yarn this sweater is nice and soft, has a slight shine to it, and gets next to no pilling - even in the long run! Made from a fifty-fifty percent cotton-modal mix, chosen for its ability to keep its color and shape, this is a cardigan with a minimum of maintenance required. Simply follow the washing instructions on the label and you will have a lifelong companion.
Material: Mint blue heavy, mercericed yarn in 50% cotton 50% modal.
