A cherished emmy classic is now back in a slightly updated and Summery version!
You start humming the melody even before the music starts playing and you are on your feet long before your partner takes your hand. Only when the last number has played are you ready to head home. The dance floor is where your heart is!
In this lovely everyday dress you will feel comfortable and well dressed at the same time. It is perfect for lindy hop - an American dance form first popular in the 1930s-1940s which has now returned stronger than ever.
The skirt on this pretty little dress swirls nicely below your knees when you move and its unique cut is inspired by - you guessed it - the golden era of lindy hop.
The lovely lindy dress is fitted down to the waist and has vertical cuts that continue all the way down to the bottom hem. The gathering by the bust emphasizes the shape of the bosom. Three little white buttons by the bust is just another lovely detail. The neckline is slightly rounded with a cut that will emphasize your collar bone and it has a sweet rounded Peter Pan collar as well. The sleeves have puffy shoulders and elegant cuffs. Both collar and cuffs has a white scalloped lace edging. To get in and out of the garment with ease it has a practical long concealed zipper in the back.
Material: Salt & pepper woven plaid fabric in brown. 62% polyester 35% viscose 3% spandex. Collar and cuffs in bright white bengaline. 98% polyester 2% spandex.
