These socks will reach to right above the knees and we recommend giving them a little fold at the top for a comfortable fit.

The size labeling on the socks does not correspond exactly to our size guides, because after thorough testing on the entire Emmy Design-team, we have chosen to be more generous with the sizing.

How to care for your wool knits:
Your pure wool knits (not just ours) do not need a lot of washing. Wool is famously self-cleansing and if sweaters need freshening up, hang them outside to air them out. Only wash when downright dirty.
Our knitwear can be washed in the machine on a wool cycle or of course by hand in lukewarm water -never hot water which will cause irreparable shrinkage. Always use a detergent specifically for wool.
Never wring out a wool sweater, just press the water out of it gently.
When you have washed a wool sweater, lay it out on a towel and gently roll up the towel. When the towel feels wet, unroll, and lay the sweater out to dry flat. Never hang dry wool, as the fibers will stretch and the sweater lose it's shape.

Generally we recommend storing your knitwear folded as opposed to hanging, as they may lose their shape over time.
