As a true Emmy Design devotee you of course want to carry your groceries or library books in our little green tote bag!
This teeny tote bag is made from lightweight organic cotton, making it perfect to always have ready in your purse for impulse flea market hauls or grocery shopping. Although lightweight, it can hold up to 5 kg (11 lbs) of your precious belongings. The extra-long handles means you can carry it on your shoulder.

This tote bag is made from sturdy organic cotton canvas.
The wide side and bottom panel makes it both spacious and stable and it even has a little pocket at the inside bottom for your phone or keys! It can hold up to 15 kg (33 lbs) of groceries, picnic blankets or extra sweaters. The extra-long handles means you can carry it on your shoulder.
Most knitwear will get pilling at first and the best way to deal with this is to remove the pilling with a sharp object - a wool comb for example! Pulling it off will make it worse.
When you have removed the initial pillings it will decrease, and you will have a great sweater for years to come.
How to care for your wool knits:
Your pure wool knits (not just ours) do not need a lot of washing. Wool is famously self-cleansing and if sweaters need freshening up, hang them outside to air them out. Only wash when downright dirty.
Our knitwear can be washed in the machine on a wool cycle or of course by hand in lukewarm water -never hot water which will cause irreparable shrinkage. Always use a detergent specifically for wool.
Never wring out a wool sweater, just press the water out of it gently.
When you have washed a wool sweater, lay it out on a towel and gently roll up the towel. When the towel feels wet, unroll, and lay the sweater out to dry flat. Never hang dry wool, as the fibers will stretch and the sweater lose it's shape.
Generally we recommend storing your knitwear folded as opposed to hanging, as they may lose their shape over time.
Our designer Emmy has got herself a new hobby and painted four different paper dolls with accompanying colorful outfits from the Spring / Summer 2019 collection!
You can now buy a set of art prints with all four motives. These ones are printed as big-sized postcards with lines for writing on the back. They are printed on heavy A5-size matte paper with paper weight 240 g (53 pounds). The prints are made locally by Tingsryds Tryckeri on locally produced paper from Lessebo Bruk.
The prints make excellent gifts for kids at any age! These particular ones are printed on thick paper and in small size so it is too fiddly to cut out the dolls to play with. However, they are ideal for mailing to a friend or pinning to the wall!
