There’s no seam in the waistline making it flattering whether you have a long or short torso. Mark your waist with the matching belt for a sleek 1930’s look or ditch the belt and you’re a 1920s flapper girl. The belt loops are only meant to keep the belt in place when displayed so we recommend cutting them off and placing the belt where it feels comfortable for you. The side seams hide two practical pockets, and the dress is closed by a zipper in the back.

Many have requested a return of this Emmy Design classic and now it’s finally here -with new features: It’s slightly longer for a more authentic 1930s vibe, the slits have been updated to kick pleats, front and back, and it now has phone sized pockets in both sides. This 1930’s mid-calf style is designed to flatter and elongate the silhouette, and the spectacular button closure has found a lot of fans among our customers with non-flat tummies as it accentuates your waist without emphasizing the area below.

We’ve worked hard to get our Edwardian Cycling Sweater as true to a specific 1890s museum piece as possible without compromising on the voluminous leg-of-mutton sleeves. A silhouette that was back in fashion in the 1930's, and then again in the 1980s, and is now trending again! In conclusion, this sweater is a true fashion statement, able to pick up vibes from multiple decades of style. It's now up to you to style it for the day!
